A TAKful Thanksgiving

With my entire family going to the farm house for Thanksgiving, I was almost positive my Thanksgiving in Denmark couldn't compare. Although I missed the family, I couldn't believe how amazing my Thanksgiving truly was. On Thursday evening, Alison's husband came from Germany in a car filled with American food he brought from the American air force base. We pulled out the Thanksgiving decorations that my mom and Aunt Wende so graciously brought over and had a TAK(Thanks)giving feast! Homemade cranberry sauce, two 20 lb Turkeys, gravy, stuffing, salad, three types of homemade potatoes, corn, peas, green bean casserole, rolls, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, bread pudding, banana pudding, and plenty of Food babies. 


















The next evening our friend Pat invited Anne Randolph, Courtney, and I over to his host family's house for a second Thanksgiving that his host mom had prepared. 
Things could not have gotten better.
