Our Saviors Church

Quick blog post for tonight (or this afternoon for all of y'all back home):
Last week my Danish class was cancelled so I was lucky enough to meet up with three of my amaXing sorority sisters from Elon. After devouring some juicy burgers we took the bus over to 'Our Saviors Church' in a part of Copenhagen called Christianshavn. Built from 1682-1692 it has seen the city grow to what it is today. Look closely at it's steeply and you will notice the spiral staircase leading to the top. Rumor has it that when the architect realized that he designed the spiral staircase counterclockwise he climbed to the top and jumped off. We, however, climbed the numerous stairs to the tip of the steeple and were an awe being surrounded with the clearest, most beautiful, and best views of all of Copenhagen. You could see all the way out to the water, the row of windmills, the farming towns far in the distance, and the best part was recognizing parts of the city that we have now grown fondly acquainted with.
