Next Stop: Moscow! 

We were in Moscow for a total of two nights. If anything, never underestimate this size of this city - it's LARGE. Below are a few shots from various stops including the Kremlin Wall and Red Square. 

Novgorod, Russia and the Overnight Train

In between our trip in Saint Petersburg and Moscow, our class made a day trip to Novgorod. 

It was a little peak of a smaller city in Russia. We stopped at a WWII memorial, a church,

 and then continued to catch an overnight train to Moscow. 

A Local Tour: Saint Petersburg

One afternoon in Saint Petersburg, our class was divided into groups of five or six and instantly given a "Russian friend" and a personal tour guide. We were able to go inside two different apartments and more fully understand the living arrangements that Russians were forced to, and still to this day live with.
