August 21st:
I leave for Copenhagen!
(Having absolutely no idea of what's to come)
Here's to my beautiful family before Mom and I departed for Dulles.
(Missing Gustapher).
I look ready to go, right?
Well, I forgot two vital things: my raincoat and umbrella.
It's rained every day that we have been here. (A full week).
No Charlotte airport here. Dulles is in the major league.
First sip of European coffee (it was Scandinavian Airlines in fact)!
Becca (BFF via Overland, Vanderbilt), Me,
Anne Randolph (Rooms in CPH, Elon), Aly (AxiD sister, Elon)
OFFICIALLY IN COPENHAGEN.
Meet Rebecca Dobler. We met summer of 2007 on the European Challenge
and have been the greatest of friends from that moment on.
Now we go to school together. Life could not be better.
CHIGGA CHIGGA.
We were welcomed to the city with rain;
surprise, surprise?
Street Soccer.
I am blessed to have a dear friend, Kelli, who was not only able to give me certain tips of the trade about going abroad to DIS (she went last spring), but she also gave me a list of 50 things while I'm abroad!
#28: Stroll Down StrØget Street. CHECK.
We were going on 30 hours without sleep. Not the prettyest of states.
